HG for Salesforce can append technographic insights to the Account and Lead objects in Salesforce CRM. Working with Salesforce.com's data science team, we have built a matching engine that allows customers to match to the maximum number of records, while reducing any false positive matches to a minimum.
To Review Match Rates: In Setup, search Data Integration Metrics, and here you can view Match Rates for Integration Rules that are currently ON.
Account Matching
When matching our technographic information to your account records, we take several different matching passes that are based on the following combinations of fields:
- Website / City
- Account Name / City / State
- Website / State
- Website
The default mapping between the HG Profile (Data Service Fields) and Accounts is shown below. This can be modified using the Field Mapping function on the Integration rule to suit the needs of the customer.
Note: Changing the Mapping fields is only needed if the standard match fields are not being used in your SFDC Instance.
Lead Matching
When matching our technographic information to your account records, we take several different matching passes that are based on the following combinations of fields:
- Email / City
- Company / City
- Email / State

Continuous Cleaning
HG for Salesforce will check for new data on all of your Leads and Accounts every 14 days - so you can be sure you always have the latest technographic insights available. Additionally, if any changes are made to any of the matching fields, HG for Salesforce will automatically check if it can now be matched.
