In order for users to import Account records using Discover Companies, your System Administrator must first set up Lightning Data Purchase Assignments on the user profile.
To Set up Lighting Data Purchase Assignments:
- Navigate to Setup and search for Users in the Quick Find box
- Select the User that you wish to assign purchase credits to
- Click Edit Assignments under Lightning Data Purchase Assignments and find the row for HG
- Check the Active Checkbox
- Select a User Limit
- Enter a Limit allows you to specify a certain number of import credits for this user
- Org Limit allows this user to import an unlimited number of accounts until the Org Limit is reached
Click Save
Note: We advise granting org limit access unless you’re granting access to a user to which you wish to extend only a prescribed volume of net new accounts to. We typically see this used when extending access to SDR’s or front line sales reps, where access to import up to 100 accounts is intended.
Note: To detect which accounts have been imported through Discover Companies report on Accounts where Account Source = HG.
